Can anyone suggest a quiet PSU (120mm fan i reckon) that will put out a good stable 12v rail (im running a vapochill) about 450watts +

    Cheers!!

Antec TruePower or Antec TrueBlue 480 watt

Ive got the TrueBlue and swear by it.

Almost silent and very stable lines.

Just put one of these in my PC

    X-pro 120mm fan PSU

Theres a review article on Bit tech about three leading 120mm PSU. This isn't one of them, but it's nearly £30 cheaper than those in the review, and I can't imagine the others would be much quieter.

Cooler Master is introducing a very nice PSU -- Real Power 450W. I have tested this unit and feel it is just as good or better than the Antec True Power 550W I have used. It will be available very soon.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!! Will a good 450watt psu be able to comfortably power the following: A64+mobo, vapochill xe, 1 dvdrw, 2xhdd and a r9800p? My cheapy 450 is running the above but with only 1hdd - thinking of getting another you see

If a cheap one is running that, a good one will run that with several extra drives.

I must admit I use my stock Chieftech psu. But I read a review on the Tagans when they were first on the market and was VERY impressed.

Google for a review and I'm sure you'll agree.

Seriously, I'm trying to hear my Tagan 480W running at the moment.. it's just not working.. (the PSU is, just not the hearing of it...)

The quality of it is also just crazy. I would really recommend it.
