Ok, this isn't just for me, but for everyone on here i guess, i was wondering where everyone shopped, could be very useful for everyone on here who's looken for places to buy from.

Right, these are the ones i have used:

http://www.pcnextday.co.uk amazing customer service, good prices, limited range in some aspects.
http://www.eclipse-computers.com good prices, pants customer services, some products arent the best quality, but are based near my uni so i can walk to them and get it rrather than have it posted!MASSIVE RANGE!!
http://www.novatech.com Good, cheap n reliable, only used once though!
http://www.dabs.com Is it me or do you find it very difficult to find what you want on the site? MASSIVE RANGE!! (if you can find it)
http://www.dealtime.co.uk hasnt got all the major shops on it but it will find you what you want from the people that are listed, and its a godsend for a bargin!
http://www.ebay.co.uk Never brought computer components off it but apaprently can be very good, or a complete disaster!

there we go then, those are my shops i use, anyone else with some, step up!

Wot I do to search for items is go to Dealtime.co.uk and find wot I want, then I go to Kelkoo.co.uk and type in the item I want and then u can easily find the cheapest, or go to google.

I mean I'v used ebay for some suff, like case fans and grills, but I wouldn't use it for components like a graphics card or HDD, its a bit dodgy if u ask me :eyebrow:!

    BTW

Has anyone seen a drawer which can fit into a spare 5.25" bay for some storage like put some CD's in it or pens etc, or can I make one myself? If so can anyone give me some tips. :sigh:

:D For great customer service I rec www.tekheads.co.uk with www.komplett.co.uk being a pretty close second.

:hip: There's plenty of other sites but those are the 2 I consistently hear good things about. You could also buy from www.dabs.com (used to be great but cust service now average at best), www.cpucitystore.co.uk/catalog/ www.overclockers.co.uk www.aria.co.uk www.cclcomputers.co.uk www.scan.co.uk www.simply.co.uk www.savastore.com www.over-clock.co.uk www.overclock.co.uk www.refreshcomputers.com www.novatech.co.uk www.kustompcs.co.uk www.lowestonweb.com with www.crucial.com/uk and www.thecoolingshop.co.uk being specialist suppliers. Everyone store will surely have someone who's had a bad experience, but the above are among the more trusted (IMHO).

:( I wouldn't touch Ebuyer and have heard of too many problems with MD (Microdirect) too. Overclockers.co.uk have a bad rep but I've used them quite a few times without any problems.

;) Oh yeah I almost forgot the other online stores too; Tesco, Iceland, Amazon, Play, TwinkleOnTheWeb, Mothercare, Homebase (until they stopped), Boots, Argos, Maplin and I used to use TheInkFactory but now use SVP (they sell the exact same inks for HALF the price) ... Asda don't deliver to me despite them being closer than Tesco!

thecoolingshop, tekheads and cpucity mostly. They have the BEST service of any of the online shops in the UK IMO, cpucity and tekheads especially.
Also have used scan, overclock/ers, ccl, eubyer (great for anthing thats hard to break, ie cases), svp (cd/dvd-r's)

I've used Kustom, Overclockers, Tekheads, Komplett, The Cooling Shop all without any grief. Some were better than others in terms of price, delivery etc

Best custoemr service I've ever had was from Wizard Designs.

For inks, I go to Cailbrecomputing.co.uk cos its so cheap, for my Epson printer its only £10 for both colour and black, and after reading that Epson Cartridges are the same quality as those cheap cartridges (which they are) theres where I buy inks now.

BTW, dont go to Dabs, they've got NO customer service, just a computer automated customer service, if you're problem is not listed on your site, you're f*&£&$#, but wot I did was email them was use the 'press' email, and sure enough I finally got a reply :hip:
