Hi, I run Distributed Folding from Distributed Folding. I run it in console mode as a GUI. When I run it, a prompt opens up and it runs But the problem with this is it uses taskbar space and when I have alot of Windows open, it get's annoying. I don't want to run it as a service because I want to be able to stop it when ever I want to plus I want to see how far it's done in folding. I know it writes a text file to show you how much you folder but I prefer a GUI output instead. Is there anyway for it to minimize to the system tray instead?
dfgui if you install it as a service dfgui can stop/start it whenever you want and display progress in a gui
Stupid question: How do i make it a service? My sister keeps closeing seti on her computer and it pisses me off.
cd into the directory where folding is and type foldjatrilite.exe(check for spelling, iam just guessing) ./install that should install it as a service i think
