sure that the wiring is a little bit similar with Orac, but at least not so shiny :D

I wouldn't use that clear plastic cover... it's not "in style" with the rest...

Very nice Piloux looks fantabulous to say the least

both Orca and the Valve Demo PC have created there "ball park" so to speak, both are very great cases but i don't think you could ever compare them just cause it's like trying to compare a SUV to a sedan, both have their strenghs, both have weaknesses, but both are great non the less (in my point of veiw) but both are still great works of art, and if Piloux, and Gnome keep turning cases like these out i will never complain, cause even if you don't like something you can always see talent, which Piloux and Gnome both have lots of..............................keep up the good work guys my hat comes off one more time

Im thinking take the clear plastic off. That just detracts from the effect of the whole case. Try decorating it with metal bits and other things to make it look like a jury-rigged screen perhaps? :)

I'd say don't lose the plexi cover, just age it like the other stuff.... skuff it up, chip it scratch it, put stains on it etc. It will match the rest of the case then and look cool and protect.

Keep up the great work.

Maybe you should crack it or take chips out of it, so it looks like the plexi cover is damaged.

Isn't that a VL Systems VFD, not a Matrix Orbital VFD?

I would leave the plexi on, just maybe damage it like you do the bullet holes. Or maybe break a little piece of the corner off. Also sux the junction box you made with the valve on it wouldnt fit, loved that thing.

    Awesome work as always Piloux!!!

Only one suggestion, if it aint a performance pc as such, maybe give the memory heatspreaders the "rust" treatment too.

uhm Piloux was hired to make a pc that valve could show demos of their games on. If you read the title you wold know that, so it is a performance pc.

When i said performance i meant "Overclocking", "Increasing the timings", "Subjecting it to extreme temeratures" sorry i was not specific enough - hope that has cleared it up fo you :eyebrow:
    - Also i have read the whole thread over the last month so i am aware of who wanted what!

Piloux, was just a suggestion  Good luck man as i said it is fantastic.

    great modding as ever...

    - as someone said.. put the ram in the green slots to attempt to hide them better.. they really do distract a bit

    - are you going to do the plexi convering that diplay the same as the plexi case window.. ie. bullet holes

    - is there a deadline for this case to be done by.. maybe give us some indication on when hl2 will actually arrive.. lol, the first deadline was sept 2003.. and its almost a year since.. still its allowed magic such as this to happen
