    Set that thing on fire!

Getting a good finish prob is easier with paint though, you could use the rust-technique everybody is using for their HL2-cases but with different colors.

It could be quite cool if you had a tft inside the case with a tv-fire (don´t know the english word) going 24/7.

Ok, that might be to go too a little bit too far..

Be sure to post some pics after you´re done!

Get some gas.. soak the case with it. Then set it on fire. Make sure you are at a safe distance.

You can probably get a pretty sweet burnt look with a regular MAPP or propane torch. If you paint it first then torch the paint, it'll really look burnt. You could also set it on fire at this point, perhaps coat with a little lighter fluid. It's also probable that the fumes from the burning paint aren't very healthy, so do it in a well ventilated outdoor area and wear a respirator.

You could also bang the **** out of it with a heavy hammer/small sledgehammer to get a hammered, burnt look like it just came out of a plane crash.

    Petrol + Case = Fire

Just remember to take the components out first -- I doubt you'd be able to send your mobo back in a matchbox and claim incompetency of the manufacturer ;)

But i didnt actually want to set it on fire, but i would like to use the paint affect to do this burnt look, as u can see my attemp sorta looks there. i could always get a blow torch ym dad has and make some scars down the side of it hehe.

But preferablly paint would be good to use :D

Back when I used to paint alot of minitures (its been a long time), I made a bunch of buildings that looked burnt down. What I did was using an airbrush painted burn marks upwards from windows and other openings. Becasue when you think about it, fire burns upward and the smoke rises, so I would suggest around your window to spray upwards along the edge. It would look like flames came out the window sort of like what would happen during a real fire inside your case.

Edit: Check out the pictures on this page to see what I'm talking about Here
