I m actually doing the full paintjob, then I want to make the next update when painting job will be finish, I m trying other paints too , and the appropriate clear coat to well fix the rust over the grey paint need to old the perspex parts too, I take my time to give it the most real time damage effect this is going to turning out much better than expected
Sigh... I hate to wait.. This is almost as painfull as waiting for HL2 the game to come out But I am sure it is worth the wait so mod on
BIG UPDATE First here is the orange UV die I used tu full the WC then I took OFF the squared place logo on the door because I thought it was too close with the other one then the paintjob could start, this is not so easy to paint this thing ... and get the timedamage look as real as possible I broke the little plastic piece theat hold the door , then I had to fix it other way : some pics of the rust parts : I integrated a lightning spot into the front door : you can see the rust paint done before I clearcoated the whole case ccfl on :
I finally painted the top grill logos with yellow paint and use some decalc to give an industrial look to it and of course give an old look too : old look to perspex parts too : here you can see the case with the clearcoat; the rust effect is much better with it
Here are some nights shots I have to say that the camera does not give the best idea how it turned out with uv lightning, IRL the pink color does not exist ... I will try to find a classical camera to take better ones I still have to age all the internal wiring and then the case will be done after that : keyboard and mice ... stay tuned guys
