    Ok. first:

NEITHER OF THOSE PICTURES ARE MINE

just so we got that over with

    second:

i thought about that ceramic problem and decided it would probably be better to use a plastic flower pot.

cooling is still probably going to be an issue

i'm still gathering parts but will have pics of MY STUFF by next post.

For some reason my avatar isn't working. any ideas on that.

    Peace Out

    Way to be a douche.

In school you were taught not to word it that way, so it confused me and perhaps other people who have a better understanding of english.

Is not this not yours. there are 2 negatives there.

Putting this thread back on track now...

Have you managed to find a plant pot suitable yet? How big did it have to be? I want more info! I think this has to be one of the coolest ideas I've seen for a while.

But then I do have my navel pierced :thumb:

    Ok.

i know i promised pics by today but all is not well in paradise and my camera is being used at a soccer game at the moment. more on that tonight.

as for the flower pot. i've been checking out the ones at Home Depot and found a preety good one. ( now all i need to do is buy it)
It's the approximate size and capacity of a printer. this still might not be quite big enough but i'll give it a shot.

    FULL SPEED AHEAD :dremel:

now i am off to pick up a new power supply as i just shorted out my old one :duh: :wallbash: (which was what prompted this mod in the first place)

    Peace Out

you could always make it easier on yourself and get a squareish pot, you know, square bottomed and \_/ kind of shape. If that makes sense...

cut a piece of cardboard to the size and shape of the mobo you want to use. If you really want to get complex, cut a piece for your video card and tape it on in the appropriate place. You could even get a cd-rom-sized box or something.

But whatever you create, bring it shopping with you. that way you can test-fit inside whatever pot you want to make sure if it's going to fit or not.

I Love the Idea! personally IF it was me I put in some pansy's or a single Tulip or something. Are you planning on cutting out the bottom? If so you'll probably need some type of holder so the thing can't get air in thru the bottom
