    That case is truly amazing. The rust effects are so gloomy. Gives me the the impression that the case was a prop in the Alien movies.

    did you use a dremel to make those grooves in the surface? you know the places where it looks like the rust has eaten it's way into the case.

    it looks pretty cool, but take some real pictures instead of those you have posted one page back.

    pictures not from upclose but some part away so that your really able to see the case in full glory.

    What kind of clearcoat did you used on that case? The finishcoat from Modern Options or some Spray? How long did you wait, before you paint the case with the clearcoat (24h?) ???

    I'm amazed at just how well this has turned out, its bloody fantastic.

    I do agree though that the vertical fins look out of place at the moment, are those going to have the rust effect also?

    Hey P hows it going. From your Last Mod that I fallowed from day 1 I have Fallowed this one as well & as you know im a HUGE Fan of Half-Life 2... This is by Far the Best Case Mod ive ever Seen. Congrats on getting Valve on your side for this. Youve now Hit it BIG TIME.... Well anyways Youve Motivated me to do my Own Half-Life 2 Project wich will be coming sometime within the next Month once Money gets back on Track... Awesome Job I wish I could of afforded that last Project you Built but anyways Keep up the Good Work..

    hey that 'former' logo grrove in the door looks amazing.// good thing it was there.. cus now youve discovered an even better rust effect

    just some full shots would be nice.. and btw.. are you paining and glazing the combine wall thigs?, from all the pics ive seen theyr black.. and have a ever so slight shine to them

    greats thanks for greats comments guys :)

    Y es I use my dremel to give a corrosion damage aspect to plastic parts


    this is modern option clearcoat , I have NO patience... then I ve put it just after the rust is dry :D

    In the game the wall is clean and dark... then I don't think to rust it would be a nice idea
