    Begun planing yesterday (lats call that day 0), so I ended up with something like this;
    A look down into the internals

    [IMG]
    how it's gonna look
    (I took the liberty to img that for those lazy ones out there.. :D )

    So, moving on to day 1 then
    Bought some angle alu. at "clas ohlson" (they have about everything there)
    these had square hles in them, as they are ment to be used to build 19" racks with.

    when i came back from work, i started sawing 45 degrees for the corners, this turned out fine, and after that i testmounted it, using el. tape (unfortunately i don't havee pic's of the sawing and other stuff, but I have of the frame dryfitted)

    and for the looks of it, plexi, painted black from the mobo-down and tint for the rest, including the VFD

    thoughts/suggestions/hints/:thumb: wanted...

    UPDATE: just do you know it, I have changed the layout a bit, so you have to take a look later on in the thread.

    [n00b] cooling, does it need that??[/n00b]

    [real answer] I'll be running it without the top cover on and some fans on for a cupple of weeks (money's tight) and then it's all going to be watercooled with one of these sucker's
    [IMG]

    and i will be building cooling-blocks for PSU and HDD myself..[/real answer]

    What hardware are you putting in this thing? :)

    I am planning on doing something very similar, but I can't afford water cooling ATM. :)

    Good choice on the passive res mate, you will be pleaserd with the performance, you can run a WC system without a rad if you have one of those babies mounted externally :D

    Curses, foiled again! This is my design I've been planning for weeks! :)

    Anyhow, great start on it. I'm going to be watching this, partially because I'm building the same shape and general layout. Fortunately, I think we're going to be taking the case in very different directions, so it will be great to see what you do with yours.

    Cheers!

    Hmph, some wise guys are thinking that how to make smaller case / components etc. And you are making bigger :D

    However, your render looks nice

    Well to answer this..
    4 cd-roms (DVD/DVD-R/CD-R/CD-R)
    4 hdd's
    a old MSI K7T-turbo
    1.33 GHz t-bird
    a bunch of PCI-cards

    when it comes to the motherboard and cpu, it will be changed to something better with time..

    that's the plan... so hopefully the res/rad can disburse (?) of the heat from the components beeing watercooled;
    4HDD's
    PSU
    CPU
    GPU
    but if it's any problem I'v thought of maby putting a radiator in the waterline, an a fan that turns on when the water is to hot..

    in some kind of strange way, that is about what i had in my head when starting to draw the render..
    allthou I'm ganna tint the top off mine (maby the whole thing, instead of paint the bottom half..) and keep the dimentions to a minimum, and with all the components I have in my current case (chieftec fulltower)
