honestly i think you need a projector in that room, now THAT would be so cool with your setup, (my 2 cents)

I just tore it apart and have the screen balanced for now. But I will eventually mount it somehow.

I know I tried, but parents said no...(damn 'rents) oh well, I guess I will just have to wait a year and a half (then I will be 18 and dont have to listen :naughty: )

So heres the deal. I realized that I was rushing a little, but I decided to wait for those pins for the headers. I want to do things right. I started to run the wires from the console to the PC it is actually going well, but I need to wait for those pins to finish it up. I have it set up to run without the console right now though (thats what the handy junction box is for. Speaking of this, it has changed. Now it is a junction panel. I used screws and ring/Y terminals to create it. Works nicely.

I wish it worked that way! :hehe: I found out the hard way that so long as you live with them, it's their way or the highway! :waah: (now you know why I moved out at 17 :D)

UPDATE!!!! I know its been a long time. And there's only 10 pics, but really I got a lot done. The pins that came are the wrong one, so I am making another order. Plus my keyswitch broke so i need a new one. I will also have an update this evening.

Well it was an exciting morning! First a HUGE electrical storm. I actually felt one lightning strike IN MY ROOM! And then...

Aparently our next door neighbor's house got hit!!

Yes thats 3 full fire engines and a few other trucks...No damage except for the Low Voltage stuff (intercom, doorbell).

And this is my new toy (well my dad's, but I use it more....) It is reeeaaaly nice.

I finally came to a decision on how to make the junction box thing. I just wired everything through a 25-pin port. Except the A/V Connections went throgh the rca jacks to prevent interference.

    Close up of the ports.

I started to move my room around now that I have one PC done. This is all my stuff on my bed.

THis is all the cabling that I pulled out of my room. :jawdrop: Thats a lot of cable........

The first PC done and in place w/ lights.

My desk in its new position. Just a little messy...

And this is my next victim. THis is what I have to put...

    ...in here.

I will be back later with another update (lots of pix this time.)

    Peace,
    Nick

So you count a 300$ Apple Ipod as "wiring"?

What's with the "No offense". DOn't insult someone and then say "No offense"

"Hey everyone, you all suck! No offense."

What are you doing with your old cases, like that Aspire X-Dreamer two in the picture?

Where is the second PC going? It seems a shame to put them both in the same cabinets, but looks good anyway. Keep up the good work. :thumb:

Well, I think I am going to save it for either my mom's new PC or for my G/F's. But it is only an original X-Dreamer.

The second PC will be going next to the other one. It should look pretty sweet having these 2 mysterious black boxes that are glowing. But with my new furniture it will look really nice...

Looks like you really needed to sort it out, and it's going well, looks good. :)
Is your switch-board going to get a paint job?

I've just moved into a new house, so have been trying to organise wiring and desks and stuff. been going to Ikea lots too - Warrington branch (1st in Britian iirc).
Am going wireless too - cba putting wires round the house to my tenants. (I'll lend them wireless cards if they dont have them!)
