Help: Electric Guitar Selection

    Was there any actual need for that post?

    A lot of people find that, with EMGs, what you hear is the pickup rather than the guitar...leads to a rather 'clinical' sound...

    On the subject of Vintage - I've rocked out on a Vintage SG many a time and I love it...great tone, sustain is astonishing. Really nice to play.

    yes, there was a need...initially i had no idea what would be a good idea or not...and was looking for advice...
