    Monday as in, 30th of August?

    Just in US and UK ? or worldwide, does this only apply to Half-Life2 strictly or Counterstrike: Source aswell?

    gold just means the final product is done. it doens't meant it's shipping yet. you can play Counterstrike: source right now if you have condition zero and i believe a HL2 voucher.

    Well.. I've seen groups trying to crack the HL2 preload already :hehe: I'd rather buy it, better bundles with lots of goodies :D

    I believe it was posted at the same forum the "announcement" was made in. [H] mentioned his password as well. I wonder if thats the password he had on the network last year.

    I don't know why they are bothering with hacking the preload. The engine isn't there thus there is nothing to play. Just some pretty artwork and maybe a level or two that can't be looked at yet.

    But what if they are trying to hack the CS: Source beta and use the preload stuff with the CS:S engine and mishmash it together to get a glimpse of what's to come!?!?!1 (but the game would probably be in the discount bin at your local games vendor by the time they're done)

    Sorry, bad pun on my part. I totally agree with you, I would think that there's nothing in that preload that is of any use... :)
