I love how I get 11,400 on default settings but by only changing the resolution I can get almost 19,000.

People please only post the default settings, cause otherwise you don't have anything to compare it with

    WA?
I refuse to belive some 1 got close to 19k on 2k3 with a default videocard in this point in time. This is just a comparison of their systems how ever way they run em.

i'd have to agree with that guy, only post scores on default settings, otherwise its like comparing oranges to apples. its easier if they're all apples :hehe:

    i just ran 3dm2k3:
    6236marks :)

thats at my everyday settings and no tweaking, quite a load of crap running, going to do another run soon :D

    after a little tweaking:
    6352 :p

it didn't make much differnce, and i didn't get much past my everyday clocks before what i call "yellow and white dot death" :D. the mem still clocked to about 380 with no probs

    on this system

    tell me what you think.

also the card i got is the MSI RX9800. The box claims it's a 9800 Pro, but the latest catalyst driver lists it as a 9800XT :).

My brother finally got his 6800 GT in. He has a Barton 2500+ (stock) and an NF7-S mobo. Some crappy ram. I basically have the same setup, my 6800 GT will be coming in this week

    He overclocked the 6800 GT:

    10205 - not bad for a stock 2500+ :eeek:
    Got around 9,950 before OCing

Well, I broke my targets of 14k in 03 and 30k in 01 (see sig, and yes they are both default settings!) so I'm happy now :D

Enough overclocking, time to get back to gaming

Yay bought a new dx9 agp geforce card over the weekend and decided to see its performance in 3D mark 2003 (it plays doom 3 high quality pretty good)

    1106 3d marks

    Amd athlon xp 1800+
256 mb generic ddr (trying to get pc3200 512mb)

Overall, not bad. The card does what I want it to, play doom 3.

10885 (update: 12270 with latest drivers) on 3d mark 2003 free version.

    Doom 3 timedemo demo 1:

Ultra setting, all options on apart from v-sync which reduced fps, 1280 x 1024 4x AA & 4x AF = 48 fps average.

    Ultra setting, all options on apart from v-sync which reduced fps, 1024 x 768 4x AA & 4x AF = 53 fps

    System spec:

    AMD 64 3500+
    Asus a8v deluxe motherboard
Gainward 6800 GT 256mb Golden Sample running at Ultra speeds.
1 GB Corsair low latency ram
Western Digital Caviar 200 GB 8mb cache Sata Hard Disk
    Onboard sound

Should my score be higher? I'm using the original driver for the graphics card. Also what is hyper threading for my processor should that be enabled? What does it do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Edit:

Just got the latest drivers for the card and got 12270.
