If I wanted to make a box out of aluminium to house some external watercooling stuff, how would I go about making the box ? I mean I can get the side panels cut to size etc. But how to make a strong framework to which to attach the sidepanels ?
Im currently doing a cube case made of aluminium and came across with the same problem. You need to get this You ´ll end up with something like this
Why use that bulky channel? Just use aluminum angle and rivet it together. A friend of mine is building an aluminum mini ATX case and his aluminum angle frame is very solid, I wouldn't bother with that square channel.
Got pics of what you mean ? I have no previous experience with this stuff, so seeing pics is essential for me to understand what you are talking about even if do have a vague idea.
they mean L-channel things. there's a few projects that use them here actually. If i remember correctly, Jounge's is one of them.
