Well the body is actually screwed on it is a little tough to remove it but it is possable the motherboard in this one is a mini ATX board it was still a tight fit but it works.

Also just a quick sidenote the Hummer will be featured in a magazine article in Japan in October.

I have not quit doing anything just been busy with a few other things these days and have had to put the modding on the side lines for a little damn life getting in the way of fun.

Hi there! sorry for bumping a thread, but I am thinking of doing the exact same thing, and wanted to know a few things.

    1. how big is the PSU size? also, do you think that a normal PSU will fit in there?

    2. think it would work with Air cooling?

anyways, if you could please help me out, I would be much appreciative!

Yah i put a smaller powersupply from a mini atx case this is a litte smaller then a regular powersupply and the disadvantage is that the power is a little lower as for air cooling i don't see why it wouldn't work you would need to open up the windows and such.

The biggest thing with this is that there is not a lot room but if you are willling to give up the remote part of the setup then this will free up a fair amount of room underneath

So have fun and good luck keep my up on how it is going make a project log here so we can check it out

yeah but see, I was hoping maybe to make it about 4"-5" taller, just so I could fool around with an Antec True 380 and keep the control board and be able to drive in to LAN partys. or maybe add a couple inches to the length or something, not really sure as of yet. I was just going to do some drawings.

I will definatly be doing a worklog here, and of course at [H].

edit: hehe, I see you live in Edmonton. I live about 2 hours above you in Whitecourt! I should come check it out in person some day when I go to Edmonton. :cooldude:

double edit: I was also thinking of making a trailer for it, to haul my keyboard and monitor and stuff like that, so when I get to a LAN or something, I drive up onto the table (with ramps of course) and plug in my LAN cable and powerbar and Im gaming. oh man I have some good ideas, now Im truly gone :hehe:

just thought I would give you guys an image of what I am doing :thumb:

This is an awesome mod, same with the SRT. Hotrods will never die, just get smaller and more hi tech  :hehe:

I have a question though. Whats the diameter of those wheels? not incuding the tyres, just the rim diameter? Also are they metal or plastic?

They may work well for something I am planning, not a car.

    thx in advance :D

The wheels and tires are the same ones used on the gas powered RC Trucks

THe diamiter on them are around 10.5 mm the spinners are about 9 mm in diameter hope that helps
