    Hello all,

quite a long time I havn't posted projucts or mods, but here I am !!

I bought the Shuttle SN45G (v1.0) this summer, and I am very happy with it...

this case can be a crazy mod machine!! :dremel:

in this log I will update all my shuttle mods, and since I don't do all at once, this topic will be updated each time I have a new mod, maybe next week, maybe in a month...

    ****************************************

So the First update we are starting with today, is the lighted case feet !! :naughty:

as you could see in the pics,
as a LEDs expert, I usually have a problem to choose the LED color - because all colors suits and all are beautiful !!

So nothing to do - I used one more time RGB LEDs  Yey !

each feet has a RGB LED, and all leds are connected together.
long and boring soldering job, but... :wallbash:

could you make the pictures smaller please.

they are way to big even on broadband.

    eg:

    small

    big

    RESIZE THE PICS :duh:

I really dont like to wait 5minutes for pictures to open, that just is too long time with 1024/512-connection.

So please do something to them!

not to sound like an ass or anything but why in gods green earth are you using that big ol' fan controller that takes up a whole 5.25 bay?! just use speedfan to control your temps with software instead of hardware. Me being a fellow shuttle owner and im sure the rest of the shuttle owners reading this know that real estate in a shuttle is at a premium, id personally take that fan controller out, put in either a burner or maybe some kind of 5.25 bay water cooling device. As for the mod tho, great idea with multi color led feet, looks great. I would just maybe steath the front a little bit, or at least match up the color schemes. :dremel:

    thank you....

I LOVE this controller, and it matches the color scheme as you say :D

I dont use any CD-ROMs, I use LAN to transfer anything I need.
I think it is ridiculous to put a CDrom in a Shuttle... it is heavy, takes volume, and heats the system....
it doesn't worth it.... as I see it...

mybe a dvd burner with many many functions will be useful there - but i still have no something like that :))

Just popping in to say I love the RGB lit feet. Brilliant! I too would love a diagram or an explaination when you have time. Is the color controlled by the pot or the three switches?

    Thanks

actually the pot is the 'main' controller,
and a switch for every color

    very very simple diagram...

    here we go...

you can develop it and for example put a pot for every color, it will make it great !
