    - Progress Bars are Amusing and Entertaining
    - You refer to your computer in the third person (My Precious)
    - When you have enough copmuters in one room to heat it in the winter.

You know you are a geek when:

:D You have to "boot" your TV
:D Your computer monitor is bigger than your TV
:D You find yourself *LOL* as you read the specs of an old computer while your family just looks at you with a blank stare. Things like
    "Spacious 6Gig Hard Drive"
    "Fast 2400 baud Modem"
    "Designed for Windows95"

    :eeek:

    Some servers at work:
    WWW Server: Mars
    Intranet #1: Deimos
    Intranet #2: Phebos
    DNS: Luna
    Email: Earth

To continue with some I just thought of:
    > You think of where you can mount a computer in your car
    > You can tell what OS people are using on TV (recently I saw a KDE GUI on a Mac display durring an Old Navy commercial)
    > You look at a movie trailer and not only know what typeface it is, but you have it
    > When someone asks you what languages you know, you say C, VB, etc instead of French, Spanish or whatever
    > You know the correct pronunciation of Tex, Linux and TCL and will correct everyone else - including people on tv
    > You get perturbed when people on tv pronounce Tex, Linux or TCL incorrect

    > when you can tell what OS a person is running just by the age of their box
    > when you actualy know more about the inside of your computer than the contents of your fridge
    > when you make tech support look stupid and tell them how to fix simple issues
    > when you can actualy change your screen res without your screen being on (or for that matter, open up control panel, change mouse properties, and reboot without a monitor. Done that before!)

I know I'm guilty of those plus a lot of the other one's posted....

when you get home first thing you do is turn the monitor on and make sure everything is ok.

the last thing you do is put her to bed (turn speakers and monitor off and set up d/loads)
