Im also gonna make a duct for the videocard out of the same bent plexi... i think it then wont look soo bulky.

My original idea was to ad a window to the top of th blower and add a rim i had made... but it would have been too large and out of place in my case. Now that I figured out how to make things with bent plexiglass I can make something rather big, look less out of place.

I think plexi would look better than what you had before, not so bulky. And you could have some cool lighting with the plexi and some el wire.

Open "My Computer", right click on the drive, and click on "Eject". :duh:

I've seen at least 2 custom programs here at BT for that purpose. Use the search.
You could also make a proximity/touch switch, based on the Quantum QT110, for the eject button, that would be cool.

    Update!

Finished cutting the case door. Still needs to be filed down though... most of the edges are still rather rough.

I just stuffed a sheet of my mesh (unpainted and uncut) to have an idea on how the finished product would look. It will be only on the bottom window, not the main window showing the mobo.

I have a bit of a problem. Anyone know what I can do to fix this: Any ideas at all would be helpful....

you could probobly get a little bit of modelers putty and fill it in then find a good matching paint to touch it up

it would be pretty damn hard to fix it with a paint that resembles it. im not real sure what you can do. if you were gonna touch it up you might as well paint the whole exterior. i hate to say it but you shoulda taped the case up. heck ive broke the pci holders on my v2000. gonna break out the jb weld! lol

id still look arround for some thing like that car touchup stuff they used to sell on TV, you know that stuff that matches color with the surrounding area but chances would be slim.

I'd buy a new side panel and cut it again, you'll never be able to get the Lain-li look back now. Great mod by the way.

haha... there is no way in hell I would buy a new door because of the tiniest of scratches.... plus the shear effort I put in that thing.. all those hours.

no way... gonna have to think of something.
