i need to decide soon on my new watercooling. i have about 2 months to get my project done for schoola and i have a very busy schedule. therfore help my me decide watercooling 1 polarflo tt cpu 3/8id polarflo tt chipset 3/8id polarflo tt vga 3/8id innovatek fass o matic with 3/8 barbs dual heatercore innovatek passive radiator with 3/8 barbs 2 c systems pumps watercooling 2 using stock tubing or 3/8 aquacomputer cuplex evo aquacomputer chipset and gpu ( havent decided which ones i like) innovatek passive rad aquacomputer aquatube dual 120mm fan rad 2 c-systems pump voltage regulator block
1 - it's remarkably close to what I want to get and the polarflo blocks always seem to come out very near if not at the top in comparisons. Not to mention a set of three polarflo blocks direct from them is US$130 where it's almost that for the cuplex evo alone!
well i only want to go 3/8 because 1/2 is so damn big and i hate the looks of huge tubing all over the case so please anyone dont argue flow rates
iI clicked th ewrong one... I ordered a set of Polarflow blocks...amoung other things. They appear to be a pretty solid setup. (my thread is right below yours, have a look)
I use AquaComputer gear in my rig and would highly recommend it ...... Let's me get an 800 MHz overclock out of a 2.4c ! Olly
so more research today about low flow and high flow watercooling. 3c differences is about the average. wow, i can live with 3c to avoid all that huge tubing. now mind you 3/8 is not that big. but the thing for the aquatube that sprays the water on the resevoir window is just awesome. not to mention the voltage reg cooler. now, my question is about those pushfits. do they do the same thing swiftech does by adding the hard piece inside the tube so the tubing holds better? grr decisions decisions. basically its go 3/8 with polarflo and switch the barbs on the innovatek passive rads or go aquacomputer 3/8 or smaller i hate decisions!
If you're going to use the Innovatek passive rad, just remember it was designed for 8mm systems, not 1/2" - it would probably give a lot of flow restriction in a 1/2" system.
well i have made my decision. going the polarflo route but using dual loops with 2 C-Systems CSP 750 Mark II *BLACK* 12v DC Pump. the way the case is designed will be perfect for my watercooling because the processor will be like 6 inches from the radiator. awesome stuff.
