Dood, you dont need a template! Just use a fan grill, whatever size fan your going to be using, and trace around that. Works Perfect!

As for the holesaw comment... I went and bought one yesterday and I love it. It's kinda scary to use heh, but it works great, and you get that perfect circle you've always wanted :).

as a template is free it is a lot cheaper than a hole saw.

Even when using a holesaw, you use some sort of template. You still have to drill holes where the screws need to go, and for that, you want to have to place marked before you drill your big giant hole. Se either way, you HAVE to use a template, but the hole will come out so much better with a holesaw.

I need templates because I can be retarded sometimes and I think it is much quicker than tracing. By chance would u have any round templates? THe one u provided were kinda square.

    thanks :hehe:

Or you could just use the fan to mark the mounting holes after the "holesaw" hole is done. I suppose you could call that a template.

We do actually have some BiT-Tech blowhole templates however we no longer have a downloads page so only people that used the old site will know.

    So here they are:

    120mm
    92mm
    80mm

you dont HAVE to use a template ... just take the fan (gasp) and put it where you want it, put a dot in each screw hole, connect opposite screw-hole-dots with straight lines, and put the arbor of your holesaw in the middle of the big X it makes ...

i guess i should read other replies before i get all smart arsed ...
