w00t i got the last part ordered today lets see in the last two days i have ordered, a clear Xbox shell, a clear keyboard, a PS/2 to USB adapter, 3mm LEDs, a mobo, a PSU, a DVD-ROM, and a 1GB flash drive and i got it apart with a sharp knife
i got the keyboard yesturday, i didn't find out til this morning, and as soon as i get my LEDs its time to mod it
<thought> you should replace the controler cable with one of those usb cables with a transparent sheath. then you could put an LED array behind the USB port and cause somewhat of a fiber optic effect with the cable and the LEDs. </thought>
I've found a really similar mouse to the one you have except the buttons are white with some blue shining through. Best part is that it cost me £6.49
update time heres the PSU i got, its an INwin 225Watt PSU and heres a pic of the PSU's guts here is the PSU sitting in the Xbox case and its a perfect fit!!!!!!!!!!! w00t hrm look a stick of ram, things are getting close to done! and heres a shot taken through the clear top of the clear parts that i recieved, i will start to keep some of the updates more secretive just to keep you guessing
this was probably mentioned earlier in the thread, but i cant find it. are you planning on using an AGP angle thing? or do you have a card short enough. looking great, cant wait to see it finished
everything seems to fit right. hey do you got those drivers for the Xbox controller for PC? I had them but lost theme. and it seems that I can't find them on the internet. could you maybe give me a link or something? by the way great work
so i got some stuff from SVC and stupid me, i ordered the wrong thing... but... i found a way to make it work first off heres what i got, 2 6" UV CCFL's and a UV reactive accent kit, i meant to get a sleeving kit so i went to work putting it in my clear shell and that was a quick way to use something that was incorrectly ordered and heres a shot with the flash on, you can see all the messy wires that will be sleaeved next week i'm using onboard video for now
why, cause the clear case looks better than the default case, and it will soon look good on the inside, probably in a week and a half after i get to order some things
Very nice mod so far. Definitely work on a good cable sleeving scheme to accent the insides. I think that leaving the cover off the PSU may be counter productive though. And are you planning on adding more cooling to the system besides the standard single fan that's in an XBox?
