What qualifies as a project log:

Ok, im hopping after this post my mod will be accepted into prject logs...

For today i drilled and cut bullet hole in the case and ordered the power supply.

starting to look like something other than a big case lol. Ill be watching but i prefer to let the modder do his work and then comment at end.... unless an opinion is asked for

You really need to put some really big grap handles on top. Howbout some kinda of anti-tamper device? Explosive bolts!? (they dont have to really work)

 

Pertty bullet holes, but they are small... Try to imagine somebody hit it with a 5.56 rifle. The hole will be really bigger But still nice work

Update power supply

Hey guys Im back with yet another update
I got the power supply in and the only thing i could say was wow... but..... There are now mixed emotions as you will soon find out.
Here is what happened:
I first got the thing in at about 5:00 at night. I was hosting a lan party the next day at 6:00.. I figured what the hell, why not just switch my computer over to the new case right now. So i spend about an hour that night wrapping some cables and screwing the psu into the cs case. Here are the pics from that.

Then i went to install it.. and was almost killed by the 8 legged 2 story tall monster... .. Ok, i lied, but it still scared me to find a spider in my case hahaha

So im happy.. and i install the rest of my parts the next day ready for the lan.
I finish this baby up at about 4:30 the next day (I was busy in morning) THe lan is at 6:00 and i fire this guy up. Looks sexy as hell.. then i plug everything in.. fire it up again and i dont see anything on my monitor.. ita 5:00 and my lan is at 6 by now im starting to freak out. I have had experiences building computers b4, so i didnt see why this thing wouldnt show.. I reconected video card. made sure everything was plugged in... etc. My lan only 1/2 hour away i made a run for the local computer store.. the guy was on the phone and the shop was about to close.. but he was nice enough to test some things out.. mainly he tested out the ram v-card and by that time i was feeling so nervous first working computer. then broken computer and a lan party with no computer!! Anyway so then i look at my gourges PSU and see it spewing green liquid inside the casing of itself..!!!!
One of the Compacitors BROKE omg! so now i have to send back my psu and get another one sent back to me.. kinda suks but at least i was able to switch back psu's for the night and have a good lan.

Woah, bad luck with the PSU there mate. Hopefully you'll have no problems with your replacement.

My only suggestion would be with regards to the fan grills at the back of the case - they look a little restrictive IMO. Have you got any plans to cut them out?

Also your bullet holes look pretty sweet

 

Vigor PSU's

Just a note on that PSU. I work as a computertechncin to fund my case cutting habit and have installed many of those Vigor PSU's for many customers (I didn't reccommend them).

I've had four of them come back within a month and do plan on seeing the rest of them within the year (same one that you've got there 120mm fan, chrome, quick disconnect molexes, blue mesh). I'd suggest highly AGAINST using a replacement of the same make and model.

They may not be as flashy but I'd go Antec the whole way.

Hey, got the psu back and made a succsesful transplant.

Sorry if i kept u waiting a while, but with HL2 out i just couldnt stop playing until i beat it...

BTW: Is there HL1 in Source engine included in the Colector´s edition? I heard about it somewhere

 

yeh, they have a half life:source it comes with the HF2 patinum edition. im sure it'll be out by itself shortly. And Mr. fraggins may i say its about time someone paid homage to the greatest multiplayer FPS of all time. do it justice...or else.

 

just wondering what mods you plan on?
