Does it matter which memory slots you use.

I got a MSI KT6 Delta FLSR Board and 2x512MB 3200 OCZ EL Platinum Memory.

Does it matter if i put the memory in slots 1+3 or should they be in slots 1+2.

I ask because I always used 1+2 and as these memory sticks get real not when playing games I thought 1+3 would be best to let alittle air in between for heat to escape.

Also my board supports 4 memory banks with DDR400 what does this mean??

Check the motherboard manual to find out which are the dual channel slots. On mine its 2+3.

The dual channel ones are usually the same colour on the motherboard. But refer to the manual.
