I recently bought a ShuttleSN95G5 for a new media PC it came with a US style mains Plug. So i figured I need a UK one, no problem there then, I though I'll need to set it to 240Volts but I can't for the life of me find a switch. The powersupply says 120-240Volts but then says something about setting the right voltage with the fan controller??? I'm a bit reluctant to plug it in untill I know I'm not going to just blow the power supply!!

    Please help me!!!!!

The shuttle PSU is auto switching, just plug in a euro cord and you are set. And yes, I have personally done it. Look at the label on the PSU...should say 120-240 50-60hz. No worries man

yeah if it says 120-240 it can use any voltage between the two

just like most monitors come with a yank and a euro cable :D

thats what I tought just wanted to double check as i hate the bang power supplies make when you get it wrong... especially if I've got to pay to replace it!!!

    Anyway it's working fine!!

    Thanks!

I 'guessed' they were, because my SN45G2 came with a US plug, so I just stuck a euro plug in, 'crossed my fingers' 'closed my eyes' and hit the power button.

I'll tell you I was relieved to see boot screen :thumb:
