Modding Uses for an old palm

I have two old palms- a zire and the original palm pilot

is there any way i can intergrate these into my case and have them display things like cpu temps, winamp info, etc? i've seen it done before, just can't find the link

If you can make this work it would be realy cool. Have you read the article about fan control software? maybe you can adjust it so you can switch fans on and off by a single press of a finger.
