I just started my 1st mod so let's start with the pics and some details . The main goal i want to succed is to put as much of my modding talent as possible on this project and give a big attention to details. I created the feet of the case Aluminium and transparent acrylic where i am going to install some green leds I will update in a few Hours as i am going to school ! Keep updated lots to come EDIT: The feet are not completed yet. Need to be polished and formed into a perfect circle
Small Update - Center Control Panel Designed Here is the control panel that would be placed in the middle of the front . Tell me what you think. BTW. Dont mind the Colors , its just the marking on the polished aluminum and after i make the holes i will print it again without the holes marked on a transparent paper . After that, i am going to attach it to the aluminium and in the same time on the front with some alien screws! ALSO, the eyes of the alien will be cut and frosted plexi will be placed behind it, green uv leds will be installed and the eyes will be used as HDD activity Keep updated!
That is a cool idea for the feet...might have to try it. Also what kind of case are you working with, just out of curiosity.
TOp design Completed Where it writes Alum , a piece of polished will be placed with alien screws . Where it writes UV Plexi, a piece of uv reactive green plexi will be placed after the piece will be cut off the case. In the middle an 120 mm Aluminium Framed fan will be installed
Thanks guys, as i said i am really really inspired by the attention of detail that many other modders give in their projects. There is nothing better than a nice clean case!
Are you planning to build the case completely from the ground up, or are you using another case as a base?
Hahahaha...that is so blatently my design for the control panel! It's ok though, I don't mind. A little credit would have been nice though Maybe it's just me being petty. I'm not really bothered, I just thought it was humerous.
Update: Control Panel 50 % Finished - Brushed Yo guys, im back again with an update. I finally decided to brush the alumium that was going to be place in front of the case ( It's my first time that i attempt to brush anything ). I still need to print the layout on a paper to cut the holes, print the transparent paper and attach it to the front with alien screws. Here are some pics! UPDATE: TOP 80 % FINISHED As i promised! The top aluminum parts have been cut however i changed the Template of the Top. It still needs to be sanded , mount the aluminium pieces and the aluminium 120mm fan and of course paint it! Between the alumium parts, the uv green acrylic is going to be installed and lighted with leds
