Modding What I found while trying to find a automotive cigarette lighter jack

I dunno a USB powered vibrator? who plugs a powered device into something wet? Thats like me trying to dremel the bottom of my bathtub while its filled with water, a bad idea!

Anyway to make this relavent to the forum, I still cannot find an automotive lighter jack anywhere, there arent any junkyards near me either and I dont want to go to radioshack and spend $15 for an adaptor or splitter only to hack off the part I need.

I can see this spiralling into depravity... One thing though, aren't all vibrators powered? I've never seen a windup one.

 

Have you checked auto parts stores?
Here's a link to Checker's, but I'm sure you could even find this stuff at any department store with an automotive department.

stupidly enough, most autoparts stores don't have decent enough websites to be able to navigate anywhere with, I tried pepboys, auto zone, napa, and a few others. Maybe I'll take a ride over there and check. But by bike is getting finicky due to the cold, doesnt start half the time.

 

Ahhhhh I get it! You mod a PC into your vibrating bed and then you can have this accessory too for double the pleasure! . For an out of this world experience, strip the wire and wire it up to 7v from the PSU!

i would let a moderator be the judge of that. He did ask a question related to modding if it would have been asked in GD then it may have been moved. Not to mention that he stated for any mod with a problem with it to move or delete it appropriately. You have no place to judge this guys thread either as you are not in authority and have not even contributed to the thread other than trolling it and raising your post count. Which im sure is important. Mods will deal with it as they see fit.

Thats exactly what I wanted to do, but not spend $15-$20 to do it, the actual socket shouldnd't cost more than a dollar or two.
