You will get more of a (useful) response if you do some research yourself, spec a system, then ask us what we think. :eyebrow:

Why are you watercooling? So you can OC, for low noise or for the challenge?

What do you want to watercool? Cpu? Gpu? NB? HDD?

I have spec a system, i thought ppl may be able to help from what i gave, sorri.

I will be overclocking, and I also want a nice quiet system - as my current PC is the nosiest thing ever, hehe.

As for what do i want to cool, well i was hoping this thread would help me.
I'll deffinetly coolt he CPU and GFX card obviously, but im a n00b to cooling, and i really dont know what else needs to be done :)

HD Cooling sounds like a plan

i meant spec a watercooling system. At the moment your asking us to do all the work for you.

As for cooling the NB (chipset) its normally not nessecary but if your OC'ing then there might be a need. Someone else here with your type of mobo might be able to advise. The HDD's again dont need to be watercooled but putting them in an enclosure helps the quiteness side of things.

Where abouts in the world are you and whats your budget as that will be an important factor as to what you buy and cool?

    Thanks for all your advice.

I'm in the UK, and I don't really wanna spend over £200 on the cooling.
    Hope that helps :)

As for water cooling spec, i really have no idea.

Do you want it to be fully internal? Im guessing so with the stacker :)

What about tube size? have you thought what you would prefer aesthetically?

Here's my 2 bucks. If you haven't already ordered, don't. Your RAM is overkill, you only need 1GB.
Ok for water cooling, stuff like a reservoir is personal i suppose. Here's what i'd get:

    Danger Den TDX/ Maze 4 Athlon64
    Danger Den NV-68 GPU Block
BIX3 Radiator - Would mount at the top of case with or without blowholes, personal thing tbh, means PSU would have to go at the bottom of the case, the stacker has been designed so it can be mounted down there so nps.
Hydor L30 Pump - Mains powered but a relay won't be too hard to buy/ make.
Innovatek Fass-O-Matic Reservoir with 5 1/4" bay adaptor - You may not like the look of these reservoirs but personally i think they look great. If put with the adaptor as there isn't many other places to put it where it'll be seen.

    Nice 2bucks :)

Yeah a 5 1/4" panel would be kool.

As for tubing, im really not fussed.
Obviously i want something that looks nice, as I will have a window, but i want cooling and quietness to come first.

I like the Danger Den TDX, the transparent with metal look.

And noted on the RAM. :)

If you go for what i've said you'll need 1/2" tubing :)

A few people have recommended Koolance Exos AL

The self-contained unit looks ok, anyone have any opinions on this?

Koolance is probably mediocre at best, however i have never used one.

They are probably a good way to get into watercooling without the case hacking thats normally involved but they are non known for outstanding performance, or silence.

It would be my preference to have an internal setup in any case, and i like the smaller than 1/2" diameter hoses from an aesthetical point of view so i would go for something from innovotec, alphacool (my current loop is alphacool), aquacomputer or similar with the biggest rad i could fit in the case (i removed all my 3.5" bays to get a BixII (a 2*120mm fan rad) in the case).

I like the ones with bay adapters :D

I've been looking around for English websites :|
Typing Aqua Computer in google turns my browser German, lolz :p

Is this a full kit? If so where can i buy one online for the UK :)

You can still order. I suppose you should join the WizD forums and send a message to a guy named Bradley. He's in the UK and ordered direct form Aqua Computer, he'd know how to help too.

I second Aqua Computer (and Alphacool). I currently use both of their blocks and a ressy with an Innovatek pump and tubing. I've got an OC in my CPU & GPU plus silence. OK, I sort of lied about the silence part, I chose crappy high CFM thermaltake fans and they rattle, buzz and sometimes stop spinning for a few seconds at a time. The rattle sounds like the noise for radiation in HL2.

200 squid may not be enough

Your proposed rig components look great so far.

I woul say however that you may need to spend more than £200 on the cooling. ..especially of you intend to go with a custom kit of Danger Den Blocks which rock.

It is worth it though when you consider that it should last through numerous upgrades...and that its very quiet and gives good headroom when overclocking.
