Just a little help on the title of the project: There is no such thigs as sheeps, it's just "sheep", like... multiple sheep, not multiple sheeps. BTW: Looks good!
Sweeeeeet!!! How'd you mount the plexi boards to the 5.25" rack and to the back of the motherboard tray?
Nice! That's a really nice rig you've got there, so many little bit's I like, but the one I'll be stealing is the way you domed the mesh covering the 80mm fan holes at the top, great idea Did you attach them with glue or are they just sandwiched between the fan and the case?
Thanx guys This is just my day to day PC im always in and out of it, just wanted to share a few of my new ideas If you look back in some of the early shots you can see where its mounted onto the left over board mounts... theres enuf to hold it, the corners i added extra board spaces to hold. the HDD tray panel is 6 dobs of glue along the front edge and a few along the top then the CDROM screws secure and hold it in place i think the even surface the doming effect gives makes it look more factory professional, your welcome to use it just hot glue is always the best! its strong enuf for a permanent job, yet soft enuf to remove should you make a mistake or want to change somthing
doesnt the huge green window showing off the watercooling sort of kill the sleeper affect? SleeperPC BTW, nice pc, i do like green just so . It's just that ^ seems wrong
No! When i goto lans i use a spare side panel from the second pc you should have seen in an earlier shot..... but i'll post piccys with that side on to appease a few Guys! i knocked this mod up in a few hours! MAX!! its just a quicky project to house my Duel Xeons and the watercooling for them. I just wanted to show you guys a few cool new ideas i had.... cheers
Spiffy However, if you wanted a real sleeper PC, you would have only done the most functional mods necessery, and kept the rest of it totally stock; the window does give us a good deal of info that something other than a Pentium 2 is inside of that beast
Here she is! very un-assuming Sleeper PC ! a Wolf in sheeps clothing Cheers! Youd never guess!!!!, Altho maybe the 20 and 23" LCd's might give a hint!
I removed the shots of the green window in the side! It seemed to be confusing a few ppl here .................................. Finally got a somehwere to host the full worklog wich can be seen here with HPRESII and will be adding HPRES1 soon. http://mir.bitstripped.net/gallery/defyant
that is freaking awesome. I can just imagine taking that to a lan and walking up to a bunch of people boasting their benchmarks next to their machines and then you totally stomp them with yours and they see your case LMAO. Very clean inside and awesome use of the green plexi. A true example of clean efficient modding. Great work!
I second that Looks like a very nice mod, however I imagine it gives you a bit of exercise carrying that thing, it must weigh a ton.
