Yet another way to stealth a floppy drive, but this time, no parts to keep taking on and off, no knobs or handles to pull the cover out, and a nice satisfying "CLICK" when closing. Closed: Open: I will post a guide in the next day or two if anyone is interested how to do the same.
Thanks for the replies I'll see if I can get something up by Saturday Night. Do you mean like a scissor hinge? I like that idea... Hmm, maybe I'll have to try it on another cover. The problem with my way is it really only works on the bottom drive cover, but a scissor hinge could be side mounted... I could have a whole tower of hinged covers hiding stuff Thanks for the idea
this is the guide where they build it so that the cover goes up and over the floppy drive: http://www.subzerotech.com/index/module/sz_articles_display/id/15/page/4
