    It would but it would take alot of commitment to organise, plus we'd need a server to run on. If it could be sorted I'd be up for it!

    i do know that sum of u are running win2003 from the os poll

    I would have a lan box with 6 X hdds on raid 5, if my raid 5 card came today:(. Soon it will be setup tho, with cs:s server, etc. On linux

    well weekend is gonna be the best bet im thinking? Also we need to make a compromise with the time since we're not all in the same time zone

    I've got the hardware lying round the house I'm sure but I really haven't got the bandwidth. (512kbs down 256kbs up) isn't that goinmg to be the biggist limitation for hosting our own server???

    dunno im thinking about starting around 8 or 9

    i wont be able to play in dx9 :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah: :waah:

    unless the evga phone guy can MaGiClY fix the vid card

    edit: we still need a server

    id be in, finals would jsut be getting over and it would be fun to kill some bit-techer's :D the problem with getting a cs:S server would be that someone needs to have 2 copies of hl2 and a great conn (1mb up) since we would be playing cross contanent

    CS:S for sure, none of this CS:CZ shite. To be honest there are enough empty servers around for us to meet on IRC and all join at once, if somebody can arrange a decent private server then all the better...

    If anybody is interested in just generally playing with other decent players add 'kermet@btinternet.com' to you 'friends' list (not modest at all) - 'tis an old email address that steam tricked me into using as my username (story there but wont bore you with it).
