v.nice me likea da test-tubes, very original, but i think you should get rid of the black cap on the top of them and find some other way to seal them, with clear sealent for instance. Also an industrial looking front panel with lots of switches and flashing lights would look uber pimp; i dont know wether you were planning this already, i was just skimming the pages.

Today did a little shopping. more sand paper and spray paint
(my god i go through it. but its worth it... ) and some mesh that
I *hope* will work... Also got a free b0xen, so messing around
with that tonight (Just an old emachines p3 1ghz.. ) but it f0lds.
and will be the next mod I do for the fiance (hmm. she says
purple or green... and will be doing hummingbirdish designs..)
so not much work today, but tomorow will be

    cutting
    sanding
    painting
    fan voltage changing
    adding led's
    and some other stuffs.

As far as the test tubes go, those are not final yet as I am still letting
the ink seep into the tonic water, and im not going to use too many
switches, I dont want it to be toooo busy..

    Ok. Stripes stay.

Today I cut out the bay covers where I will put the mesh into, and sanded them down along
with the front bez, have the first coat of white primer on all of them.. cammo paint to come
in stages throughout the day (I wont take too many pics to bore you with the process since
it will be the same as all the other parts of the computer)

    Its that time again..

    Front Plate Taped and marked...

Cut, Sanded, Primed, Painted, Mesh cut to size, added, painted...

Re-sanded the front Bez... prime, prime, paint paint paint, mask,
paint by numbers... add some stuff to show how it looks..

(dont know why these are so blurry) but a tease..
    CDRW/DVD player
    48x CDROM
    CoolDrive2
    CoolDrive2

    USB | Power

2x UV Reactive Yellow fans + 8x UV LED's (custom installed)
Fans are running off 5v to quiet them down even more
    (stock they are ~21db)

//Notice the ghetto rigged HDD hanging in there? IBM circa 1995..)
Will be adding the "Chemical Warfare" Stencil on the two stealthed
bays later on, painting the cooldrive front with white (silver now.. just
so it blends in better) Adding the grey to the front bez. and clear
coating everything. then it is time for more work inside..)

This is an old Serial Switch box (for printers and the likes)
Scrap from work (along with scrap speaker from work)
Was a quick and dirty project I did a few months back, will be
reborn into the ChemWar look.. has 2x primer, 2x white on it.
so next is the black/grey then fixing up the electronics etc

Looking good, prefer the camo pattern on the bezel to the black you had before.

    WOW looking real sweet!

    just an idea for ya:
does the chart specify dangerous chemicals by name?
you could label the bottles with various names from the list. and have 1 slightly cracked and leaked and make it look like a dangerous spill.
[idea] crack, then reseal a vile. take some clear (epoxy?) put same uv die in it, place other viles in epoxy to be held in place, light up with black light and it will look like one of the dangerous chemicals have leaked out.... and it will hold your viles in place for you :)

also, I know you did alot of work for that plexi fan grill, but I think it would look better if you used the same look as you are on your drive bay fan grills.

heh, just as I as going to bed I came up with another idea for you.

arnt bio/chemical labs, or atleast the containers cold.
you could light up the inside with uv and blue light, for your window showing the viles you could make it look like there was frost on the outer edges of the window?
