    cpu: intel celeron 700 mhz
    mem: 2 * apacer pc100 128 mb sdram (256 mb)
    hd: seagate medalist 4321 4.3 gig
    nic: 3 * 3com 3c905c-tx-m 10/100 mbit
    power: seasonic ss-145sfd 145 w
    cpu colling: spire passive
    case cooling: 2 * 80 mm fans




    -= chassi =-
    280*160*240mm
    totaly made of aluminium
    pwr led, hd led and led activity for each nic
    80 mm in the fronten sucking cool air
    80 mm in the back blowing out hot air
    the chassifans will also cool power and hd
    fancontroller 0 - 12 v for all fans

    looks pretty awesome, there is nothing more pleasing to the eye than blocks of aluminium. :sigh: I wish I had access to, and the skills for, a CNC mill...

    Taking the HS's off the psu and re wireing them so you can put them where you want is a great idea, somehow i never tought of that, thnx :D

    Nice work man!!

    I was thinking, why will you put 3 NIC's in the firewall/router? You could as well gut a switch and stuff that inside the system :naughty:

    You can use it as a switch that way I guess :rolleyes:

    gona use this http://www.smoothwall.org/

    u split the network into 3 zones
    with an nic to each zone
    red (to internet)
    orange (to servers)
    green (to workstations)

    this make it more secure :)
