Nope. The mini is well nice, better than the Creative Zen mini to hold and the best on the market of "mini" mp3 players imo. Our own Haz did a mini mp3 player review for a mag or something around xmas/new yr and i saw all the ones he had to review and the mini was still the nicest to use and most solidly built. I wouldnt buy one other than silver/white, same with Zen mini. It's just they've gone from cool to common to almost loathed now (see my cool thread in SD forum)
Personally though I feel the micro is easier to hold-its chunkier body moulds to the hand more than the slim tall one of the mini. As for ease-of-use, they're both just as easy and quick to use once you've learnt them both- you don't buy a VCR or PDA without expecting to do a bit of learning first, it's just natural that you should work out how something works first. Other than that, I don't see how the mini iPod is any better...shorter battery life, higher price, no straight WMA support, no radio and fewer colour options. <A88>
I don't own an iPoo simply because there are better players out there (iRiver anyone?) Oh, and all the chavs round where I live have one.
I bought my iPod mini last week. I got the mini because A: I liked the look/style of it, and B: The ease of use it has. Does that make me a chav then!
Blargh, iPods are ubiquitous nowaday. Rio Karma and the Irivers are best if you want features. I personally prefer the Rio.

words i never thought i would hear off a person on bit tech i seriously thought all of you had more ££ than sense though in this case i disagree! iPods are good, and stylin'! Id go for one were it for the lack of moneys and everything edit: oh, and in regard to the whole chavs have one thing... who the hell cares ? its a goddamn MP3 player. Dont let what you want be dictated by what they wear or use! If i want burbury, i get it! (not that I do, i really really dont its just a point).
Who really cares what mp3 player you have ? Unless you walk around waving it in front of you, all other people will see are the headphones. As soon as people see white headphones, they all seem to think ipod anyway ... no matter what it might be. And if you are one of those people who do walk around waving your new toy in front of you and being obnoxious in general ... well, you need help.

Ipods have become passe. Tbh i think most people buy them because they are an Ipod and not for their features. I'm not a great fan of the styling as it think its dated very quickly but they have the slickest controls of any music player there is.
HAHA Brilliant So it's a counter counter fad. So we have to buy one in order to not not look like a sheep of the anti-sheep. It's like the "cool thread" on a whole new level.
