Not bad so far. Good work. One thing I hate though is that color 'rust'. It doesn't even look natural.

 

*Daily Update*

Today i've 95% finished the right side of the case. My idea i make a hole in it and put the plexi behind it and than i light it up with 3 LED's in orange.

On the right side you see now a hole ;-) with a wood frame


Here now the finished plexiglas with the shade of the Band of Brothers as seen on many posters (i hope you recognize this)


Than i've done some soldering work for the LED's and the switches.

 

Note: the orange is not orange in real! The rust looks very natural. And you must wait a few days then the color getting darker. I made the pics only a few hours ago than i've finsihed the painting.

 

Oh ok then. Well when it does look darker, I'll adjust my comment.

 

Today i make one shot of the color, and you can see the current color. I hope my camera tells it colourfast.

*UPDATE*

/me was very hardworking today and i can say that following is done...(90% finish):


The right site again painted with black base


I put all the electronics on the front, you can see the switches and the potis (A shot from the cablesalad i've not made)


First test run aaaand all worked fine

Informations how i arranged the switches and what they do (from left to right)

1. Amperemeterlight
2. orange cold light kathode
3. UV cold light kathode
4. Plexiglasslight from the right side

5-6 Potis one for the Topfan and one for the casefan

And then i've solder the light *g*

Consequently i've finished the soldering work for this case (i hope so).

Sorry for no update yesterday. A friend was visiting me and we had mod his mouse with a blue LED incredible work, yes i know *hehe*

But today and the weekend i must work very hard, because the case must be done this weekend. Next week i only wanted to put the hardware in it. And then there is the LAN party on 25th.

When anybody want, i post some pictures from the LAN party and the modding contest here. And you can see what place i have make.

I hope you can see tonight a few new pictures from the progress.

Then i've glued the plexiglass on the right side , fixated with CocaCola ...

...then after dry i glued the LED's on it

Then i created the diesel tank. I fill in it water and the UV green color (not really shown by my camera), the EXPLOSIV Sticker i will put on it.

Today just a little update, i painted all the parts with the rust. And i've done the stealth mode for the CD-Drives.
Pictures will follow tomorrow because i'm sitting here with my laptop.

 

Its frickin awsome (hows that for a comment? )

One thing i dont like is the "Diesel tank"

Is it going to do anything? If not you should just leave it out.

 

Hmmm no function (Diesel Tank) but he lights up in the dark and UV light. Looks nice, not?

Now i working on the rust effect. But you must be an little to make this real i think. Ok but i think i can do this.

Sorry but still no Pictures because my main PC is now not complete to use

I'm on the final Steps. The new photos will come when i finished my project and thats it's wensday or thuesday because i need the case on friday for the LAN

And then i hope i have a chance in the local modding contest.

OK yesterday i've done the diesel tank it's now screwed on the bottom of the case.

Then i've bought new feets for my case today i will light them up (hope so)
