Since you have two resevoirs, and you definately have enough water, you will get a bigger cyclone if you reduce the amount of water in each tube. That way there is less resistance and the water will spin much faster.

And yes, some color will be awome, not sure about metallic, but some die, and UV light or something will be awsome.

    Oustanding job so far.

that is soooo cool!!! is it spinning because the inlet/outlet is in the bottom corner? is the pump strong enough to make is spin like that even with the second tank and all the tubes and blocks in the loop? or are you going to use more than one pump?

Probably look really cool, like the rest of it. Great work, it is really nice to see a build from raw materials. I like the detail that went into the support posts.

wow... that has got to be the most amazing effect... for both cooling and aesthetics!

in theory the vortex in the other reservoir should spin the other way, as it is being forced to by the pump....

i dont think youll have ANY problems with air bubbles in that system due to the vortex! man, i wish i had your gear

    excellent work

    keep moddin' :dremel:

This mod is so absurdly good, its hard to imagine anything ever approaching the quality of workmanship again.

If I were you, I wouldn't dye the water. The way I see it, the clear water looks a lot 'cleaner'. You've got bright aluminum, plexi, and I don't think it would match the modern and classy look of the case if you throw in some random colors.

If anything, you could lightly dye the water, so it had a very slight bluish tint.

OHHHH I SAID IT FIRST! WOOHOOOOO!

Sorry, I just like being right :D

I like that it isn't a huge, flashy vortex too, it's just spinning. That's the best thing about it. Glad I was right :hehe:

    Awesome!

Have to agree, coloured water has been done to death (My mod included), the clear water and aluminum looks so clean! Awesome work :cooldude:

Sorry if this has already been asked, I've read most of the thread, but what pump are you using? And how is it sound wise? Cheers.

i also aggree, i hate coloured wter cooling, it looks tacky, hoverever, finding a colourless additive to stop corrosion mihgt be a bit dificult.
