Modding Built myself a LCD :)

    Found me this small LCD for about $10

    (and as always, th wireing suck :))
    Right now i'm working on mounting it into the front of my case.

    I Found it at a local swedish site, www.adteknik.se they've got like 4 products in total, so it was just pure luck that i found it :)

    i've got a 2x16 as well. How did you get it to show the cpu load with the bars. What lcd programme did you use?

    I use LCD-Smartie, it's pretty easy to make show just about anything you want :)

    The electonics in the picture is intreging me, whats the boards for. Got a schematic?

    What did ya start with what did you do to make it work?

    Here's the schematics.

    It's got a standard Controllership (the 47XXX someting).
    but wit the difference that you have to add the 15K resistor, or else it will burn...
    i bought it separately from a small electronics-store, don't know what it was aimed for.

    I built one for my mate and left out the pots and the resister because there just for variable contrast and backlight i heard and it works great :)

    I Killed mine yesterday when trying to tidy it up a bit. not to good... guess i have to buy me a new one :eyebrow:
