    quick question.

tha Wavemaster has one 80mm fan for exhaust in the back and 2 for intake in front, is enoug room for a 120mm instead of the 80mm exhaust?.

im like that case, i maybe get one soon, but i need to know if i will be able to do that mod, cus it realy needs a ventilation boost.

    Thx!

Nope a 120 mm fan won't fit in the back space where the 80mm fan is, of course you could always put a 2nd 80mm there with some cutting or enlarge to top hole to 120mm.

You can also put an 80mm fan in the top

    Dosen't a adapter for 80 to 120 mm work?
    It's a pritty handy thing.

Depends on the adaptor. It would have to be either attached to the back and have the fan outside the case or be about 25mm thick because of the way the rear 80mm fan fits above the rear mb connections. If you have the adaptor inside the case then you would have to worry about turbulance and interferance between the exhaust and cpu fan (if you're running air-cooling) because the fan is centered to exhaust from the heatsink fan.

2 80mm then, it would be nice to fit a 120mm fan, and fit the fan on top require some hard moding, and then remake the com-port (is that the name?) somewhere.
looks like wavemasters needs some serius mod :dremel:
thx to all :thumb: , ill find out what to do :dremel:

you put the adapter on the outside, so the 120mm is at the back, and the top can also have a 80mm installed - make sure you remove the foamy stuff before though :)
