theres always a second or two to be found by getting your braking and turning points perfect.

when i say getting my ass beaten, i mean by at least 10 - 20 seconds... the cars i've tried are powerful, but not as responsive as the tricked out ones in that race... looks like i need to shell out 4,500,000 credits for one of them racing beasts

 

What are you racing?

The rallys are not simple, both snow ones and grand valley :/ hardest ones imo

Mitsubishi Evo VI TME with 500bhp and gold wire wheels. (so bling it hurts) - practice your lines and drifting...it gets easier.

Remember to use the Scandinavian Flick - for a left hand corner, turn right then jerk left, pulling the rear of the car around then opposite-lock your way around the turn.

Practice in the Ice Arena using a Daihatsu Move or similar low-power 4wd car until you're comfortable with it then mod it to up the power...then get a Mitsubishi Galant VR4 (80's second hand shop) and use it until you're comfortable with it...then get an Evo VI, VII or VIII and use it stock then progressively mod it until you can cope with it at speed.

btw, i tried racing in allsorts of race cars, the nuvolari, a couple of skylines... everything i can think of... but now i have an answer to my problem

I'm saving up 4.5m to get hold of the Toyota GT-One - I have a feeling it'll rip it up in that race, as it was my favourite racer in GT2 and 3. Hating not being able to test a car then re-load, so going to make a backup save if after spending 4.5m the car doesn't live up to expectations.

Hi, just bought this today

turned my ps2 on and after a few loud clicks it decided to run, anyway had to go out so i switched off, came back and now it doesnt work... at all

been trying for the last 4 hours but just keep getting disk read errors so i opend the ps2 up and gave it a good clean... still buggerd, what should i do? it was brand new still in the wrapper and did work but now doesnt

oh btw my ps2 is old (model SPCH-30003) but ive never had any probs with it till now and hasnt been modded in any way

hope someone has sum advice
