    Hello there,

This Sleeving costed me 1,25 euro per meter. I bought 4 meter.

    The story:

A week of 2 ago , I went with my brother to the Pet-store(that is mostly sells fish). And than I saw something.:

There where different sizes, but I bought the 12mm tube. (I think)

    Materials needed:

    1.The tubes.
2.Scissor ore Knife ore Stainley knife.
3.Maybe tape, to tape the tubes on a table ore something else. So you can cut into the tubes straight. If you need a scissor , you don't need to tape it on the table ore something.
    4.Ruler.
    5.Ballpoint, ore something else.

    Guide:

    1. Measure the length of the the cable you need to pull over with the tube.
    2. If you measured it out, and you know the length. You cut the tube at the exact length. For example; you have a 30 cm cable, and then you cut 30 cm of the tube.
    3. Grab a ballpoint ore something to draw the line in the middle. But if you are exact with cutting you don't need to draw a line.

4.And now you have to cut in the middle of the tube in the DOWN SIDE!:
(i drawed the line with photoshop)
    5. Now you are gonna cut the tube:

    6. And now you pull the tube over the power-cables. So you don't need to remove the molex.

    The result:

(Don't watch a the power-cable that is connected on my fans, my fancontroller is broken, and I didn't cut all the tubes pretty. Because I experimented at the first time, but i leaved the tubes in the pc, it's a wast of your money. And I didn't put the tubes good over the cables. )

It's cheaper than those mesh, and now you don't have to remove the molex:). And it looks really great. If there are grammaticalf faults ore what ever, just PM me ore post it here. Ore send me a e-mail: rufus1990@hotmail.com

Not bad, not bad at all :) Ziet er wel pimp uit :D

In any case I would've removed the molex's myself, except for the atx connector which I would've split the tubing for... I got mesself a window kit so I need to sleeve my PSU aswell. This might be a good option. Nice work ;)

edit: BTW I'm lovin that Dutch->English dictionary ;)

You have a good eye for deals and you're pretty frugal too! Although if you're looking for some more tubing like that.. you can find some at a hardware store, anywhere from about $0.30 /ft to about $1.00 per foot depending on the thickness.

you could probobly use a nail filer to even the cut if it looks bad and then some clear tape if it doesnt hold together that well, but yeah, its a good idea, i would do it,but i get nice sleeving for free from my dad's workplace :-D

You don't, they will seal up enough on their own for their to not be a problem.

I was going to do something like this in FrozenFire, but unfortunately 6mmID just isn't enough for a PCIE line.

Uuh that looks suprisingly good! And I think I could use that in my case ;) I'd use uv-reactive-green-tubing maybe.

But buy thicker tubes, because then it will closen it selves better, then when you have a thin tubes.
