This happened about a year ago, but i just found the pics of it and thought I'd share. I bought a cheap (but very good!) enlight case to mod. I got all the hard work done, sanding, painting, and window cut. I was going for a mirror black finish btw. Just after I got done painting, my employer decided to transfer me immediately to NY from IL. Immediate as in they called thursday, i was in NY by monday. I had to leave everything behind that I couldn't carry on the plane, with hopes to come back for it very soon and clean out my old house. I unfortunately didn't have that chance, so my parents had to go and move everything out for me. They just saved the valuable things. To my fortune (or so i thought) they did save this case, but had tossed it into the garage where it got banged up very badly and was then completely worthless. So here it is:

The color of the bezel didn't quite match the case, I found a guy in WI who did mixed custom color vinyl dyes, but hadn't ordered it yet.

the color would have evened out. those pics are just after the last coat was put on, but before it was sanded down to a silky smooth mirror finish :miffed: It's already in the trash. The drive cages were completely crushed (i had drilled out the rivets and painted them too, no pics tho) and the prongs on the E were bent, along with a number of good sized scratches that would have probably taken more work to get rid of than to just start over. This thread serves as a memorial, it's dead, lol.

Always sad to see a 7237 bite the dust. Great little cases.
