Can you explain how this is wired on the inside to be powered? http://members.optusnet.com.au/~lukestclair/mypic334.jpg
still lookin good man, always loved the look of blue and red together, i dont know about the bottom part of the front of that case though, just not my style i suppose. but the rest def. looks good, maybe if you put a diff. plexi there or something? not sure what all you have planned for that but keep the updates coming.
thanx guys, Thought it would be a shame to waist all the awsome mirror plex ! So wer'e putting it to good use!
Wow just wow If you wanted, you could sand the anodising off that CPU block and polish it up to a mirror finish Would go nice with that mirrored plexi.
Nice one! I was thinking about doing the same with my case... You might want to keep attention to the airflow on the motherboard with that cover, things heating up and stuff.. And think about what awesome gob-smacking result you could achieve when etching those plexi sides (without giving too much of my plans away )
Cheers leeum, soz no can do! thats a some sort of carbon not metal but we did make a cover for it and it just looked wrong! noooo thats alright chiron! i won't be etching anything on this or or any mod i do im glad your thinking of doing the same. air flow will be fine with the mb cover , HPRes2 has been working as a folding box 24/7 for months now with nps.
Only thing wrong with that is the pictures are too small to drool over properly Seriously though, a couple of 40mm fans mounted on the sides of your plexi enclosure ala IG7-Max3 to cool the mosfets (and ram) would be awesome to see!
i hear ya about the pic size! working on a new host atm ive just added a vent to the top of the mb cover, im 100% sure heat wont be a prob, the water cooling will take care of that. HPRes2 with its mb cover runs 24/7 in aussie heat, @ 30c on average with its cover fans off. If you look close @ one of the piccys we placed a "tunnel" type fan @ the top for a qik mock up. If heat becomes a prob we can always add this back @ a later stage.
Hey dude, if you want ill host your files while you find a good host, drop me a line at my email! And great work so far!
slaving.. oh god Nice mobo cover. You don't worry to much about it touching compononents and electrify everthing? Or you just leave lots of space at every angle to prevent that from happening?
Damn defyant... another kickass mod on the way i wish i was your kid!!! i love the mirrored plexi, it looks so damn sexy... loving the industrial look
