Perforated, Maximum PC Rig of the Month! Aug 2005

You pulled this off quite nicely. The end results are quite plausible for your theme. This looks like a computer that's been banging around the galaxy, constantly being upgraded with bolt-ons, revisions and upgrades as needed. The textural richness of all the stickers, warnings and "aging" effects is quite stunning. I really like the layered effect of "older" mods being half covered/or cut into by later additions, adding to the realism of a corporation adding to the functionality of their equipment in the most economical and practical manner possible.

Finally, you didn't just copy something you might of seen as a prop in Aliens, or even combining multiple elements from the movie, but instead you created something unique by expanding on the concepts presented in the movie. That is what original creativity is all about!

Like the paint work and the the stickers did u print them you self.
you have probly sead it some where but i havn't read so mutch.

Ohlalalaaaaaa, this has become one sexy mod. I realy love the aging, weathering and alle the original decals you did on this case!! Looks like you used quite some scale modeling painting techniques on it! Can't wait to see their little brothers and sisters being put together!!

good but finish that worn down job, I saw some really out of place buttons in your shots...

 

the insides look pretty cool with the white light. im thinking of using the same sort of scheme when it comes to doing my case up...

OOOPs, I modded it agian...

Well, I went ahead and modded the LCD screen, well actually I made a frame for it so I would not have to mod it.

I did not take very many production shots of it but here are two:

Shapping it after cutting it out with a dremel.

Whats planned for the future of this mod? well I like my messy cables - but I think that I may shorten them any way. And I may add another hose to plug into a vent that will allow me to better maintain the water levels.
