Because I am so nice.. there's now a Retro theme in the dropdown list for everyone who liked the old forum colouring.

Rose Petals and Scented oils to the bit-tech address.

    You guys.....

Yes, this is just a colouring change.. the old images are incorrectly branded so wouldn't be used anyway.

indeed, my CRT dosen't have to be run as low as 60hz for ANYTHING (2048 is at 85)!

the problem i have is so much of this space is wasted, which is fine for the (relativly small) articals, but on the forum, is a joke frankly.

colours don't really anoy me, thou when u've got the forum open, the 'tab' for forum been blank i find a bit strange, thou mabye that belongs in bugs with IE.

The Forums Tab (between Gaming & News) seems to be missing the word Forum, until you hover over it.

    IMO
The front page doesn't look too bad, but the coloured tabs are a bit ott & the blue bar ->
just seems like a complete waste. Overall the site looks way too white. I had to change to the retro colour scheme as I was worried I'd get snow blinded.

Sorry guys I'd say 9/10 for effort 6/10 for presentation.
(not that any of the sites I've created are any better!!) :)

Heh, but comparing the old theme to the new dark one, I think I like the new (dark) one better. :thumb:

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, haven't got time to read through all posts so I apologise in advance. The observation I have made is when I have clicked on the blue 'Forum' button. Due to the setting for the 'visited links' I can no longer see the nice white text becase it is the same colour as the background of the button. The other buttons also change to the blue.

I am slowly addapting to the new colours and like that members details have been put back to the side.

the ads block the content in this post

    Dont touch my computor woman

its due to the images being large, can you make the ads slide to the right? or dosent it work like that?

edit;; res of 1024 x 768 or lower

Admit it, the image sizes are stupidly large. And I've got broadband, not everyone has. The solution is for posters to learn how to resize their photos.

    Nice work guys :thumb:

But the buttons (Gaming, Hardware etc.) look kinda "cheap" imho.... :worried:

Also I hate the ugly strip on the right side :eyebrow:
