Yup - right before he shoots a certain someone in season 3 - "NO YOU DON'T" We now return to your regularly scheduled thread.
isn't it just easier to buy one and mod it to fit then u can actually measure the sound waves your pc makes. my school science department has loads the address is ....... 123 Fake Road nowhere im sure u can ummmmm lend one
Are you talking about an oscilloscope? Those things are expensive and don't really look like lasers, so that's why I'm using a laser. Also lasers look cooler.
sorry, but saying that this project is going slower than i had planned is an understatement. i have a very small update that i need to post pics for, i am just saying that i sanded the inside of the external molex connector and the usb connector holes, so now instead of being rounded like they were from the drill, theyre rectangular.
I like the lazer idea. If you need a bunch of small mirrors find a dollar store and get one of those mini disco balls 50+ little square mirrors. Some hot glue and you set.....im not sure how you are going to keep gas in it or what kind a gas…… Maybe a little fan circulated some baby powder (yes I know the baby power would probably clog the fan…im just the idea guy) I just works well.
those mirrors are far too small, and besides, ive already got a piece of mirrored acryllic that im using. muhahahah i stole it from the scrap pile in the school shop. dont tell anyone though.
LOL. Your secret is safe with us. Many an item in a mod has been "aquired". Heck, I'm technically not even legally allowed to own the basis for the case in my sig. It's gone now - don't come after me Mr Policeman
when you say tap, i believe you mean tape, and thats one of the greatest ideas ive heard in months! i was going to mask off everything and paint it all professional like, but it would be easier to do the base colour and then put tape all over for the circuit board traces. i love it!! a local craft store should have glow in the dark tape.
sorry, didnt notice this post. ive got a project log in the project log section, so no more posts will go here. heres a link to it http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?p=1117622#post1117622 and the discussion thread: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=98706 have a look, ive updated recently.
