    Hi,
I am going to be building a media centre for a mate soon, but one of his needs is to be able to hook up the Playstation 2 to the monitor or PC thus enabling him to get rid of his 14inch portable as well as the VCR.

If I connect it to TV in on Hauppauge PVR 500 there may be around 5 seconds lag with it being a PVR, similar to watching TV via the media centre and watching via normal tv there is a lag as the tv is being recorded to the H/D.

Only other thing I can think of is via TV in on the Gigabyte 6600gt passive VIVO card, but not sure if that will lag also :/

Whats the best solution for this?

    Thanks

You should be able to get something to work...
I've got an old ATI All-in-wonder card... when watching TV on my monitor, it's actually half a second ahead of the display on the TV itself
    (straight from the freeview box)
Otherwise, you can get VGA adapters for PS2s.....

I suppose this goes from the connector on the PS2 to... DVI or Dsub?

Any ideas where to get one in the UK?

    Thanks
