I bought few toslink (optical digital audio) cables from regular HIFI-shop, cut those half, took outer rubber cover off, peeled 3mm from both ends and connected other end to bright leds... :)

I especially like the fiberoptics , good idea . but if i were u i would change all lighting to white except ur powerled etc. cause the blue led fan would stand out to much .

    Thanks you all :)

I were away yesterday, but today I'm continuing :)

    OS (Linpire Live) running fine!!

I added three cords with small connectors to cd-rom-drive: One for eject, one for read-led and one for write-led.

ps. Those crumbs on my carpet are from cutting plexi.... not me eating sloppy ;)

    Help with paint?!?

Thanks, that was the cheapest silent cooler I could find ;) And it came with leds witch was plus.

I'm having REALLY hard time painting the case, or actually handling the plexi after painting it...

I'm scratching the paint of all the time! And I do try to be carefull, but as my case has lots of those metal cornerbrackets and plexi edges i'm doomed to failure of keeping the paint perfect...

    Any ideas? :wallbash:

As you can see I put white leds on plexi feets. CD-rom tray cover stil missing.

ps. those round plexipeaces are there just to keep oll sides even (I have not put all screws in place)

You can't even see those optical lights when lights are off!!

Lights at the moment, starting from top:
    HD activity
    CD read
    CD write
    not in use
    not in use
    not in use
    Power on
    Stand by

I luuuv the glow plexi gives on bright light.

Inner fittings are just visible on daylight when power's on. When power's off you can see absolutely nothing inside.

    dam it's god!
    wow man.. i love it
what about the other PCI holes?
by the way - you can use the leds in front for fan activity , or led activity
you got 5 bays for HDD , you can make more HDD activity (you have it on your MB? )
you can tell me how you cut the MB cover so good?

Thanks all, you are so kind :)

yeah, I know, i'll have some problems if/when I get some new pci-cards. I just dont want to cut huge holes without use, so dremel should be at hand when aquiring new pci-cards ;)

I just found the guide how to make independent hd activitylights.... maby few of those. I was thinking about two lan activitylights.... straight from lan connectors?

I used "dremel" diamondblade to cut the MB cover :) and just time....
