mhh, the shop where I bought the glcd is no more ( i think it was lcd4you.com or .de), I have the display for 2 years now.

edit: I have found a link where you can buy it: http://www.lc-design.de/shop/de/index.htm ( --> Grafik-LCD-Module --> 320*240 the last one)

That's too bad... Then... Do you know the exact type of the display?

    Why batteries?

By the way. You mention you need batteries for the LED at the front of your case. Why did you chose to use batteries? I mean, you have to keep changing the batteries every time they are empty.

you cannot use cables because when the drives open the cables must go out with the drive (bad english, i know), and when the drives close the cables must go into the drives, ( I have tried to do so, but without success, one dvd drive was destroyed)

Only the stealth drive bezles have batteries, the other have calbes!!!

How about point contacts? When the drives are closed the contacts touch like so: -----|----- (where | are the contacts). When the drive opens the contacts do not touch, like so: ------| |-------
I realize that that means that the LEDS go out whenever you open your drive but that should not be a problem. Saves a whole lot of batteries :)

mhhh, good idea. I will think about it. The batterie power is enough for months!! led´s need very few electric energy.

German: (not important for the english readers)

:duh: :hip:

Just a thought, if you use batteries for the led's on the stealthed drives, won't they stay on if you ever turn you computer off?

yes, but that´s no problem for me, the stealth drives have buttons.
I will update soon, :dremel: I will paint the interior black and buy aquagrafx from aqua-computer for my Leadtek 5950 Ultra
    [IMG]
    ,new hoses (black PUR).
    with plug&cool
    [IMG]

, new cable managment like my friend :D with his "i-spider-stacker" :D
    [IMG]

Later I will solve the problem with the stealth drive batteries. :thumb:

    big stacker mod update

    hi,

I promised updates, here they are.

    the old border.

    the new/old one.

    Thanks to ferry!(i-spider)

Aquagrafx for my leadtek 5950 Ultra.

The hole case was painted black in the interiour. My Asus Board crashed during the modding. (not my fault) 3 times the same problem. The board was 2 times by asus for repair. The 3 time warranty was lost because the board was older than 24 months! :duh: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:
Now I have to use a "ASROCK" :wallbash: :waah:
I will buy a new cpu-cooler later, this is an silvered copper cooler from zern.
I used it with a peltier(155 W, 10 Celsius, top!) but it needed to much energy.

2 BAD, bad, baddddd quality pics from the interiour(I hate my digicam!!)

Here is the baby. Maybe some stars for the mod???? :D :D plz

    Doesn´t it look clean?

The mod isn´t finished, my mod will never come to an end!
I have to do some work with: better wiring , paint the drives black, buy aquadrives.... but I have no money at the moment!

Any ideas what I could mod next? :dremel: :dremel: :dremel:

    I hope you like it!

Mhh, something else. I´m searching for a name for the stacker, some ideas? Maybe: Black Hawk??????
