I don't like that green UV-plexi because of:

    1) I don't have it

    2) It is just too yellow to be cool :< IMO.

Thanks guys for the nice comments.

And a little update. I've been very busy lately so I haven't been able to do a lot. I also promised you a picture in the dark:

    Nice.. isn't it? :D

The middle cube is my next target so.. here it is

And this is the way it'll look at the end. In the middle cube there only will be the HDD.

    until the next update

Thats a good looking cube. I like how what holds the pieces together is part of the design. Very sweet. Should look really interesting when finished.

Wait a minute. If the middle part is also a cube, then the part on the top isn't going to be a cube at all! It'd have to have eight sides (can't remember what to call those), not six.

This is looking pretty sweet. I like the squared off covers more than the bent ones, they should fit in there easier now also :)
The abstract design of this should have it very unique by the end.
    Mod on!

I'm really impressed with your fastening system; normally (imo) using bolts causes a more cluttered look, but you've pulled it off very well! (the connection pieces were well worth all of that sanding) Also i like the design you came up with, very original and nice looking. Looking forward to more updates.

a little extra time on my hands..

So I made myself two holes in the middle cube.

What would I do without my jigsaw?
