This one turns out nicely. Awesome work. Beat me if I just missed it, but what kind of cooling will be in there?
I like the backplate, very well done! You've also done an amazing job with that acrylic; I can't imagine a teacher who would less than amazed at such a well done project.
thanks phaeton! i got my hands real dirty working with that aluminium today! aon, I'm just going to use normal cooling as my main project brief (chosen myself) was to design a case that was different, but not too different. It's supposed to be manufacture-able to an extent hehe I think I've spent a good 120 hours on this project!
wow...just wow... the backplate has come out great, I'll also be doing something like that for my upcoming mod (if I don't use the plate from my current case), do you have the dimensions you used somewhere?
new pics from today! got 2 hours of work in which is actually rather pitiful since i found out this is due in about 2 weeks time im doing to die due to the deadline change!! anyway i can do it so here ya guys go! finished bending the back plate and i glued it onto the motherboard tray. i then glued that to the main frame pics! took off the masking tape to show you the media rack
awesome! i tried my hand at watercooling before but i didn't like it at all... so im just a simple cooling hardware man!
I'm going to be bleeding from my eyes removing all the tape later because most of it has been on for more than 3 weeks so it's hardened a bit Today alone I was using so much white spirit to get rid of the stupid residue that was stuck on the acrylic!
Yeah, try getting the residue off of sheets that have been sitting outside for 3 months. That's what I dealt with when my first load of polycarbonate came from a scrap yard in the form of 3 window panels that were meant for use on city buses. I recommend using heavy amount of either diswashing soap and water, or just glass cleaner. Don't use any scrubbing sponges though, if you need to scrub use an old towel.
^_^ thanks guys but dont worry i know how to clean it! theres this technician at the dt workshop who's so helpful so alot of things are made alot easier with his advice anyway pics soon!
Pictures! Got the tape removed today! Most of it anyway Also marked the spots where to place screws for the fans, and I glued the back panel in
